September found family and friends gathered together to celebrate Corey and Donna's wedding.

Years ago we commissioned Jeff to carve us a fountain.  Several years later he finished it up and brought it to our house.  It sat on the porch for a couple more years.  Finally last fall Scott and Craig helped us set it up.
Photos have been taken all along, but finally the light was right for photos worth posting to the web page.

It has been interesting watching it age, and grow algae on the wet surfaces.
It is by far and away the best bird bath with birds visiting it daily for drinks and baths.

Hail Storm

December found it hailing!  and cold.

Hummingbird Bath

The pond has been a marvelous addition to the farm.  Seems that we have more birds in the yard then before.  The moving water provides a wonderful sound to enjoy the early morning coffee with.  The water falls provide bathing areas for the birds.  This first effort at catching a humming bird bathing leaves a lot to be desired, but click on the thumbnail for better detail.
