Monterey Bay Aquarium Member Night
Holidays in Store

  Woven Time was invited to participate in this annual Monterey Bay Aquarium event. 
This evening saw the introduction of Jelly Sun Catchers and Open Waves. 

The lighting produced some very interesting shadows and reflections.

The following Saturday and Sunday, Dec 3 & 4, were the days of Woven Time's Annual Open Studio.
Woven Time's fused glass was better represented then pictures indicate, but the rest did not turn out well. 
The space was shared with Kathy Stutz-Taylor, a print maker, and Andrea McDonald a potter.

Creating Imagery in Kiln Formed Glass

I took this class in May, 2005.  It was taught by Avery Anderson in her studio near Eugene, Oregon. Avery introduced us to silk screening, photo resist, damming for thick work, use of enamels, sand blasting, the wet belt sander, micas, and using iridized glass.
